Nicknamed “Coach Tower”, this skyscraper sits at 10 Hudson Yard, in NYC. The building was designed by Kohn Pederson Fox, and is a part of the Hudson Yards urban renewal project, a plan to redevelop the Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s West Side Yard. The skyscraper is named for it’s main tenant, Coach, Inc.. I have worked for Coach for the last five years, and spent my last spring break on the eleventh floor of this building, vying for a corporate internship. The trip represented my first step into the “adult world”. Walking the forever crowded streets of New York City, in the midst of St. Patrick’s Day festivities, I came to this gleaming skyscraper and realized just how much my path had changed, how every decision I’d made had lead me here.
